Child Migrant Stories
Co-founded in 2015 with Dr Eithne Nightingale, Child Migrant Stories draws on the lived experiences of child migrants who migrated to the UK, under the age of 18, from 1930 to the present day. The project uses images, sound, text and short films, developed in collaboration with former child migrants, all of whom have powerful stories to tell and some of whom are artists, musicians, and filmmakers. One of the short films, Ugwumpiti, was nominated for an AHRC Research in Film BAFTA. The intitiative also went on to win a Public Engagment Interact award.

ABOUT
Award-winning video editor and producer with 12+ years of experience in short and long-form, from feature films and documentaries to music videos and commercials. Expert in leading post-production workflows from editing to VFX and colour grading, with a track record of delivering high-impact projects for global brands, including the BBC and Discovery Education.
———
My passion for editing and technology sparked at school when I ran the theatre technical crew and radio station. In 2010, aged 16, I was approached by a local production company to film and edit a series of videos for the Royal College of Pathologists.
Whilst studying at Queen Mary University of London, I oversaw post-production for the then in-house production company, Mile End Films, including an interview series for 10 Downing Street. This led to my first feature edit aged 20; Art Ache is available on Amazon Prime.
Before graduating, I was a co-recipient of Best Film at the Living British Cinema festival for Word on the Water. The London book barge can still be found near King’s Cross today (weather permitting!).
Over a decade later, I've produced hundreds of films for clients such as the BBC, Abbey Road Studios, The Guardian and Discovery Education, including award-winning projects with Hamlett Films, Child Migrant Stories and Ivy House. Now, I'm looking to the future of immersive and interactive filmmaking with Apple Vision Pro.
A trumpeter in my spare time for the London Gay Symphonic Winds and The Edlin Ensemble,
my love for music directly influences every decision I make in the edit.
